Wayfair has launched its own retail holiday called Way Day. The 24-hour sale will offer shoppers its lowest prices since Black Friday and free shipping on all purchases.

In order to harness the needs of the season, thousands of products will be discounted, from home furnishings to home improvement items, all of which help consumers prepare for the warmer months.

“We’re constantly looking for new ways to delight and serve our customers. With that mission in mind, we launched Way Day to provide an opportunity to shop great deals at a time of year when refreshing the home is at the top of our customers’ to-do lists," a spokesperson from Wayfair told FierceRetail. "We know that our customers focus on updating their homes for spring, so we’re aiming to help them easily and affordably create a home they love. We’re excited to put a new retail holiday on the map that celebrates home."

Way Day starts at midnight on April 25 and will offer up door-buster deals every six hours. Those consumers with Wayfair credit cards will earn triple rewards on purchases made on that day. All rewards can be redeemed on future orders through the company's retail sites including Joss & Main, AllModern, Birch Lane and Perigold.

Spring seemed like the perfect season for Wayfair to start its retail holiday as customers are redecorating for the change in temperature.

"It’s also a time where people tend to spruce up their home to get their houses ready for sale or move into new ones—no matter what our customer is coming to us for, we know that spring is a time when they’ll really value our best door-buster deals," the spokesperson said.
