Best Buy tests rent before purchase option

Best Buy is teaming up with startup Lumoid to offer a try-before-you-buy option for store electronics, ranging from cameras and audio equipment to fitness trackers. The option will be available through the Best Buy website, which will then take interested consumers to Lumoid’s site to make the rental. (Recode)

Wegmans introduces delivery

Wegmans has teamed up with Instacart to offer grocery delivery. The partnership will begin in stores in areas surrounding Washington, D.C., and will expand to a few dozen stores within a few months. (Recode)

Deliv jumps in $200B alcohol market

Deliv announced a partnership for same-day delivery for several alcohol retailers including K&L Wine Merchants, Blanchard’s Liquors, PlumpJack Wine & Spirits, Vin Chicago, Foodkick by FreshDirect and more.
