Men may be more interested in mobile technology or hardware, but women rank as the biggest users and influencers.

Women not only use social media more often than men, but they use these sites in more ways, according to Finances Online. Women dominate fast-growing social media sites and are the largest group accessing social media via mobile. Forty-six percent of women use their smartphones to check their social accounts versus 43 percent for men.
