Walmart starts holidays with first-ever toy week

Walmart is diving into the 2015 holidays by launching its first-ever toy week—a look at the top toys of the season, chosen by kids. The week, which begins Aug. 28, also kicks off Walmart's annual holiday layaway program, two weeks earlier than it began last year. The price minimum is now $10 for a layaway item, $50 per basket. These events will precede the launch of Force Friday, when more than 500 "Star Wars" products will be available in-store and thousands online for purchase. Story
