Uniqlo wants to raise overseas revenue fourfold

Uniqlo's parent company Fast Retailing Co. currently obtains half of its sales domestically in Japan, but hopes to quadruple its sales overseas and make its presence twice as big abroad. The company plans to add 185 Uniqlo stores overseas and 85 new GU and Theory brand stores this fiscal year. Though the brand experienced a profit slump last year, amid better-than-expected sales in China and Europe, that has not slowed down the retailer, who expects the company's net income to rise 34 percent in the fiscal year ending August 2015. Story
