Toys R Us taps global chief talent officer

Toys R Us hired Tim Grace, formerly group VP of human resources for L'Oreal Group, as exec-VP, global chief talent officer. He will report directly to Dave Brandon, chairman and CEO of Toys R Us.

Grace will oversee organizational design; talent acquisition; succession planning; learning; change management; labor and employee relations; and compensation and benefits.

At L'Oreal, Grace led all human resource functions across North and South America for nearly two years. He previously served as Schindler Elevator's senior VP of human resources and administrations for 12 years.

"Tim is a passionate leader who cares deeply about developing high-performing teams," Brandon said. "In championing our 66,000 employees around the world, we believe Tim will help make our company's culture and talent a competitive advantage, and we are pleased to welcome him as a key member of our leadership team."
