Target first retailer testing new mobile video ad

Target is the first retail advertiser to test a new mobile video ad known as Kapsule. As readers scroll through content on a screen, a sponsored video player slides out of the right side of the page and recommends related content. A similar concept is already used on desktops, but this is the first effort of its kind for mobile.
