Target begins testing concepts in food lab

Target and partners IDEO and MIT Media Lab have begun a multiyear collaboration where thought leaders gather to discuss how to create a future with abundant access to good food. Last week Target began testing two ideas. First, at the Fenway Target in Boston, the Good & Gather concept flips the traditional food label by boldly displaying ingredients on the front of packaging. The second concept allows shoppers to scan fruits and vegetables to get real-time nutritional information. Story
