Stop & Shop launches store brands challenge

Stop & Shop is challenging shoppers to put the retailer's brand to the test. During the weeks of June 29 and July 6, and then again July 27 and August 3, when consumers purchase selected national brand products they will also receive Stop & Shop's own brand equivalent products for free.

The goal? To prove to shoppers that the store's own products are "as good or even better than the national brand," said Judi Palmer, director of marketing and external communications, Stop & Shop. Announcement
