Starbucks' First Teavana Store Pricey

Starbucks opened its first Teavana store in the Upper East Side of Manhattan with much fanfare today, October 24. The Teavana Fine Teas + Tea Bar does not feature any Starbucks branding and its atmosphere is "much more zen-like than anything you'll find in a Starbucks store," Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz told USA Today. The other major difference? Teavana's prices. A 16-ounce specialty tea latte retails for  $5.95 and one of its salads is priced at $14.95.Story
