Staples to Offer Textbook Rentals

Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS) announced that it has partnered with textbook platform BookRenter to offer a new textbook rental service through Staples.com. The new textbook rental service will further expand Staples' product offerings, allowing its customers to choose from all of BookRenter's 5.5 million rental titles at discount rates. Course materials are the second-highest expense for college students, making up as much as 40 percent of the price tag for a degree. The new partnership with Staples lends itself to the company's new marketing campaign "Make More Happen" that illustrates to shoppers that Staples offers more than just office supplies. Story
