Spotlight: Rockets of Awesome launches kids clothing subscription service

Rockets of Awesome launched a kids home shopping experience this week, similar in concept to StitchFix for adults. The company sends boxes of seasonal clothing, free of charge, to a shopper's home to try on and are only charged for those items they choose to keep.

The idea emerged from founder Rachel Blumenthal's earlier startup, Cricket's Circle, a shopping site for new moms. Feedback told Blumenthal that parents needed help shopping for children well beyond the newborn days. Rockets of Awesome joins the growing number of at-home, personal shopping services. Read more.
