Spotlight: Amazon sales up 31% in Q2

Amazon reported a net sales increase of 31 percent for the latest fiscal quarter, bringing in $30.4 billion. Net income was $857 million in the second quarter, compared with $92 million in the second quarter 2015. One of the big contributors to sales was the company's second annual Prime Day, which was the biggest day ever for Amazon and a record day for Amazon devices globally.
