Shoppers can check local Macy's inventory via mobile this holiday season

Beginning in November, Macy's customers will be able to search for an item on their phone and see what's stocked at their local store. Alongside images will appear product details, such as price, size and color, and a link to the item on the retailer's website. The program will work with Google's proximity marketing platform in an effort to drive sales during the busiest shopping season of the year. Story
