Shopify, an e-commerce service for small business owners, has partnered with Stamps.com to integrate USPS shipping into its Web retail platform.
Using Stamps.com, retailers will now be able to automatically import Shopify orders and print shipping labels for all USPS mail classes, both domestic and international. They will also have access to the new BestRate shopping engine, which helps customers identify the most cost-effective mail class using box size, delivery time guarantee and shipping zone.
Shopify supports more than 100,000 online stores selling more than $4 billion in products. The new change is the second upgrade offered by Shopify in recent weeks, after last month's announcement that it will lower transaction rates across its point of sale plans and bring faster pay-outs for merchants.
