Shopify lowers prices for merchants, expands offerings

Shopify has rolled out a slew of upgrades to its retail offerings, with lower transaction rates across its point of sale plans and via the Shopify Mobile payments app. The changes also bring faster pay-outs for merchants on the Shopify platform, dropping payment time down to just three days.

In-store only is another new option. Previously, Shopify offered either e-commerce alone, or e-commerce plus POS options for using its services. Now, Shopify offers the ability to just sell offline. Other new perks include the ability to create and redeem gift cards at its merchant stores, as well as custom receipts in multiple languages. Story
