Footwear retailer Shoes of Prey has launched phase two of its partnership with Nordstrom (NYSE:JWN). The company, which enables shoppers to design their own shoes, will now offer the virtual design experience in Nordstrom shop-in-shops throughout five U.S. cities.
The brand and the department store first announced a partnership to create shop-in-shops last year.
Beginning this spring, Shoes of Prey studios will open in Nordstroms located in San Francisco; Newport Beach, California; Paramus, New Jersey; Washington, D.C.; and Chicago, reported Chain Store Age.
The brand's display includes a wall exhibiting the variety of styles available to the customer. Then, shoppers can use an iPad, featuring the 3D online shoe designer, to select everything from style and color to heel size and embellishments. The line offers more than 170 materials, including vegan options.
All shoes are made to order for pickup at Nordstrom or shipped directly to the customer in four weeks or less.
Other recent brand partnerships, such as Haute Look and Trunk Club, have been integral to boosting traffic and sales for Nordstrom.
