SAP Admits To "Inappropriate Downloads" From Oracle

In court papers, SAP has now conceded that one of its units did perform "some inappropriate downloads of fixes and support documents" from Oracle.

The Tuesday acknowledgement came from SAP CEO Henning Kagermann. "Even a single inappropriate download is unacceptable from my perspective," Kagermann said. "We regret very much that this occurred," according to this CIO Today story. Technically, this was a violation but it's far from clear whether Oracle suffered any true harm or whether SAP achieveved any material advantage.
