Sally Beauty confirms data breach

Sally Beauty Supply has confirmed it suffered a data breach, the second for the beauty supply retailer in less than two years.

The retailer disclosed the the possiblity of a breach earlier this month after conducting an investigation, and while the incident has been confirmed, Sally Beauty declined to identify the scope of the breach but assured customers they would not be responsible for any fraudulent charges.

"We are working diligently to address the issue and to care for any customers who may have been affected by the incident," said Chris Brickman, president and CEO of Sally Beauty. Story
