Retail sales up in September, October

Retail sales did better in October than analysts expected, rising 0.2%. Sales were also revised to show an increase of 1.9% in September, according to the Commerce Department, indicating a healthy pace of consumer spending for the start of the fourth quarter. (Reuters)
