Kroger might acquire Overstock

Reports have stated that Kroger Co. might acquire e-commerce company Overstock.com. Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne said in December that selling to a brick-and-mortar was definitely a possibility for the near future. The rumor comes just days after Kroger was supposedly in talks to acquire another e-commerce company, Boxed.com. (Bloomberg)
