Target rolls out same-day delivery in Twin Cities

Target announced it will begin same-day delivery in the Twin Cities through its recently acquired partner, Shipt. Starting March 1, this will be one of the first markets for Shipt since it was purchased and Target anticipates reaching 1.2 million households through the delivery base of about 50 stores. Walmart upgrades in-store shopping app

Walmart has added some new and some improved features to its in-store mobile app, including a new set of in-store tools called Store Assistant. Other features includes smarter lists, individual store maps and greater store information. Progressive Grocer article

Aldi to upgrade, expand in St. Louis

Aldi announced the renovation of dozens of its stores in the St. Louis area, part of a countrywide overhaul of its properties. The discount supermarket is also looking for new locations to build in, with roughly $49 million being invested in the St. Louis area. St. Louis Post-Dispatch article
