Retail CMOs plan fewer discounts this holiday

Retail holiday promotions will feature less aggressive discounting, according to a new survey by BDO. Seventy percent of retail chief marketing officers anticipate retailers across the industry to offer more discounts and promotions this holiday season versus 2014, but say their own marketing plans have fewer discounts and are more in line with last year.
