Petco names Michael Nuzzo, Michael Zuna to executive roles

Petco announced the addition of two new executives to its team. Michael Nuzzo (right) has been hired as executive VP, CFO, and Michael Zuna will become senior VP, chief marketing and digital officer.

"As CFO, Mike Nuzzo brings a successful track record of leadership for both public and privately-held companies and will play a key role in helping us further refine and execute our long-term growth strategy. As Chief Marketing & Digital Officer, Michael Zuna's wealth of innovative marketing experience will enable Petco to communicate our passion for pets and deliver the increasingly digital experience our customers expect while continuing to differentiate us from the competition."

Previously, Nuzzo was chief administrative officer at tech baby gear brand 4moms. Before that, he was CFO and executive VP at GNC Holdings, as well as senior VP, finance, among other roles at Abercrombie and Fitch.

Zuna will take charge of the company's efforts to engage with pet parents and will be accountable for marketing, advertising, public relations, digital and e-commerce activities for the retailer. He previously held leadership roles at Arnold Worldwide and Ogilvy and Mather. Press release
