Petco (NASDAQ:PETC) and Instacart have expanded their partnership to provide delivery services in a total of 14 metro areas in the United States. Pet owners in qualifying areas can now order items from Petco and have everything delivered in as little as one hour.

The service is now available in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle and Washington, D.C. New York City will be added to the list later this summer.

Shoppers can choose from more than 11,000 Petco and Unleashed by Petco products for delivery.

Petco and Instacart began their delivery partnership earlier this year in Boston and San Francisco.

As the pet products market continues to grow in popularity, Petco has made significant changes to its executive leadership in the past year to meet increasing demand. Earlier this month Michael Nuzzo was named the company's new executive VP, CFO, and Michael Zuna was appointed senior VP, chief marketing and digital officer.
