PC spending on the rise

The PC is not dead after all as IT spending and projected shipments of desktop units prove to be on the rise.

The increase comes as companies scale back investment in mobile hardware and begin upgrading aging units. "We need PCs," Dan Olds, an analyst at Gabriel Consulting Group told, Computer World.
