PayPal to expand services

PayPal has pledged to expand its services after it finalizes its split from parent company eBay. In the wake of competition from online payment systems from Amazon, Alibaba and Facebook, as well as in-store transactions conducted via Apple Pay and Google Wallet, the company will need to step up its game. PayPal's soon-to-be CEO Dan Schulman said the company will become a full-service payment partner offering mobile transactions, credit purchases and customer loyalty rewards programs. Story
