Only 43% of retailers have mobile marketing strategies

For all the focus on mobile within the retail industry, just 43 percent of retailers report having a mobile marketing strategy. Worse yet, just 38 percent report seeing measurable success from mobile efforts, according to the 2014 Technology Trends in Retail Report.

Mobile is still a small part of online sales at just 20 percent and 71 percent of retailers report mobile conversion rates were lower than website conversion rates. Perhaps that's because just 38 percent of those same retailers have a mobile app. Infographic
