Nordstrom eyes two-day e-commerce shipping

The fall opening of a new distribution center in Pennsylvania will enable Nordstrom to offer two-day shipping to most of its e-commerce shoppers. Almost half of its customers are within two-day ground delivery of the center, said Blake Nordstrom, president. The company's goal is to be able to offer two-day delivery to 90 percent of its customers either from the new facility or its existing distribution center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Story
