Native App Or Mobile Web?

Just a few years ago, retailers were threatened with the possibility of needing to build smartphone apps for as many as a half-dozen operating systems. Now the top three choices are iOS, Android and a web app, though even that choice is daunting—in part because of the cost. But comparing the pain points for each choice turns out to be relatively easy: Native apps may be best when an app will be complex, use special phone (or operating system) features and is personalization-heavy, while the mobile web can be a better choice if frequent updates, universal accessibility, search-engine optimization and tight budgets are important.
