Men's Wearhouse hires Google veteran as CDO

Men's Wearhouse announced that Ben Baum will join the company as executive VP and chief digital officer. Baum's career includes leadership roles at Google and Bebe Stores. As CDO, he will be responsible for all digital and omnichannel initiatives at Men's Wearhouse, reporting directly to CEO Doug Ewert.

"Ben has an incredible track record, developing and leading digital operations in the fashion retail industry," Ewert said. "His knowledge, experience, insight and innovation will help us chart an exciting new direction for our company. Ben's breadth of experience will be a tremendous asset as we leverage technology to provide an engaging customer service experience across all channels."

Baum served as CDO at Bebe Stores and as head of business development for multichannel retail at Google. He also held various merchandising positions at Target, including women's apparel and segmentation merchandising. Press Release
