M-commerce sales to reach 80% in 2014

The top 500 leading retailers in mobile commerce are set to reach nearly $84 billion in sales from smartphones or tablets in 2014, an 80 percent increase over 2013.

Mobile could comprise 21 percent of total Web sales for these retailers, according to the Internet Retailer 2015 Mobile 500 report, released Tuesday. The report ranks global retailers and includes analysis of each one's site performance and mobile search engine optimization performance. Story
