Liquidity adds former Walmart Japan CEO to board

Reverse supply chain solution provider Liquidity Services added a former Walmart executive to its board of directors. The new board member, Edward Kolodzieski, will also serve on Liquidity's compensation and governance committees.

Kolodzieski worked for Walmart for nearly 13 years, most recently as exec-VP of global sourcing from 2010 to 2013. He was responsible for the global procurement of goods and services.

Earlier in his career at Walmart, Kolodzieski was CEO of Walmart Japan and COO of Walmart International, leading operations, merchandising, marketing and new format development for all countries outside the United States.

Prior to Walmart, he was president of regional grocer Acme Markets for two years and VP of strategic planning and CIO at Ingles Market, another regional supermarket, for three years.

"With a more than 30-year career that spans all aspects of the retail supply chain from operations to sourcing and merchandising, Ed's experience and vast knowledge will be invaluable as the company continues to invest in and deliver the next generation of cloud-based marketplace, analytics and returns management solutions," said Bill Angrick, chairman and CEO of Liquidity.

Currently, Kolodzieski is also chairman of Archway Marketing Services and is a director for Vi-Jon Inc.. Press Release
