Kroger Names New President

Kroger Co. has promoted Jeff Parker to president of C-Stores and Small Format. Parker was most recently Kroger's vice president of Small Format. His promotion is effective immediately. The move comes after Van Tarver, the current vice president of the Convenience Stores Division and Supermarket Petroleum Group, announced his retirement from the company. He will make his exit in August and continue to oversee the Petroleum Group until then. His replacement will be named at a later date. Story
