Kohl's creates 8-day Cyber Week event

Kohl's (NYSE:KSS) is the latest retailer to release a week-long list of deals aimed at extending and growing online sales following Black Friday.

The retailer unveiled a week of deals that begins Saturday, Nov. 28 and extends through Dec. 5.

Kohl's will offer eight days of deals for its Cyber Week, including an additional 20 percent off everything in stores and online, and free shipping on purchases greater than $25.

There will also be a new flash sale each day, both on the website and mobile app.

"Beyond great value, Kohl's is committed to offering our customers a digital experience that is second to none this holiday season," said Krista Berry, Kohl's exec-VP and chief digital officer.

Kohl's has been heavily promoting omnichannel initiatives this holiday season. Kohl's mobile app has the ability to track wish lists and shopping bags across devices. The new omnichannel shopping bag can be accessed from a smartphone, tablet or desktop and will be automatically updated after shoppers log into their Kohl's account.

In addition, the Yes2You Rewards program keeps track of Kohl's Cash and multiple ways to pay, including a mobile wallet with Apple Pay, Kohl's own charge card and Visa Checkout.
