Kohl's app grows user base by 800%

Comscore's list of fastest-growing mobile apps include Uber, Tinder and Nike. But no retailer beat out Kohl's, which increased its user base by almost 800 percent since overhauling its mobile offerings last fall. The increasing use of apps branded by retailers such as Kohl's, Walmart and Target prove that online payment apps from Apple and Google can't compete with the tangible benefits of retailers' mobile offerings, such as customer loyalty earned by rewards programs.
