Kimco Realty appoints Conor Flynn president

Kimco Realty (NYSE:KIM) named Conor Flynn president in an August 6 announcement. He previously acted as CIO, COO and executive VP. He will continue to act as CIO and COO.

Flynn will take the place of David Henry as president. Henry will continue on as Kimco's CEO and vice chairman of its board of directors.

"Conor has demonstrated extraordinary leadership in directing the strategic and operational activities of the company highlighted by an entrepreneurial vision and passion for the company that will continue Kimco's organizational success well into the future," Henry said in a statement.

Flynn's responsiblities up until now have included overseeing the company's shopping center business, supervising personnel and making investment decisions. Flynn joined Kimco in 2003 as an asset manager and has occupied numerous senior leadership roles with the company in the last 11 years, including a position as president, western region.
