Gordon Brothers Group, a global advisory, restructuring and investment firm specializing in the retail, consumer products, industrial and real estate sectors, announced today that, effective October 1st, Kenneth S. Frieze will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Frieze has over 20 years of leadership experience in restructuring, consulting, brand redevelopment, appraisal and asset disposition. Mr. Frieze has held various roles at the firm since 2003, serving most recently as President. Prior roles included leading the firm's brand, appraisal and business development efforts.
Mr. Frieze succeeds his father, Michael G. Frieze, who has been a leader at the firm since 1966. During his tenure, the firm expanded from a retail liquidator to a full-service provider of strategic business and capital solutions to healthy and distressed companies alike. Michael Frieze is the third generation of the Gordon family to have an active role in the firm. Michael Frieze will continue on as Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the firm's Board of Directors.

Mr. Frieze has also held positions at Bain & Company and Deloitte CRG. He holds a BA from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
