Hudson's Bay, parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor, has announced movement in its executive team to incorporate the management of recent acquisition Gilt Group. Hudson's Bay plans to utilize the technology and personalization expertise of the leaders of the flash sale web retailer, which was acquired in January for $250 million. Gilt's chief product officer and head of demand marketing, Steve Jacobs, will now serve as senior VP of digital technology for all of HBC. Aaron Shockey, senior VP of HBC digital marketing and customer insights, will now serve as senior VP of marketing for Gilt and Saks Off 5th, plus Gilt City. Read more.
