HSN, Inc. announced the appointment of John Aylward as executive VP and chief marketing officer for HSN. He will be tasked with developing the brand and overseeing integrated marketing, omnichannel marketing and creative, while reporting to Bill Brand, president of HSN and chief marketing officer of HSN, Inc.
"I am excited to welcome John to the HSN team," Brand said in a statement. "He is a proven talent with a strong record of achievement across a wide range of consumer-facing brands. His background will help us build on the momentum we achieved last year, which included record sales and customer growth."
Aylward served most recently as senior VP and head of marketing, brand engagement and media for DSW, before which he spent two years as VP of marketing for Starbucks' premium tea division, Teavana. He also spent seven years with Gap, starting out as senior brand manager for Gap Europe, before moving on to director of marketing strategy for Gap North America and brand director for Gap Europe.
