How to trick Amazon into keeping your Prime price at $79

Yesterday, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) said it would increase the price for its Prime service by $20 per year to $99, but a few Amazon fans have found a (sneaky) way to lock in the price of $79 for another year.

Shoppers can disable Amazon Prime's auto-renew for an account and then purchase a gift membership at the current price for Amazon Prime. Then schedule delivery for the day after the current Amazon Prime subscription is set to expire. Story
