How Gen Zers Influence What Your Customers Purchase

Retailers, listen up: the "Gen Z" generation – 61.2 million American youth 14 and younger – are more opinionated than their predecessors. Nearly 80 percent of all purchases are influenced by this group's requests, according to a new Tetra Pak survey of 500 shoppers. Plus, 55 percent of planned purchases are made by the children's and teens' requests. Only 20 percent of shoppers said that what their kids want does not influence their purchases.  Story
