High-end retailers going high-tech

Mobile apps and in-store technology, including kiosks and tablets, are increasingly being adopted by high-end stores in shopping malls, especially as holiday shopping begins. Earlier this month Ugg announced the opening of a high-tech store that uses wireless sensors to customize boots. And other high-end brands such as Gucci, Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren have partnered with MicroStrategy to create customized apps that help retailers know how and where consumers are shopping.
