Google opens first retail site for Google Glass

Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) first retail display for Google Glass popped up this week during The Players Championship, a PGA golf tournament, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Last month, Google made Glass available to the public for 24 hours, but that was strictly an online effort. This was the first time the wearable has been sold in a public, face-to-face setting, reported FierceMobileRetail's sister publication FierceRetail. In addition to the Glass display, the makers of two official golf-related Glass apps were also on hand giving demos. Story
