Francesca's board loses 2, adds 1

Specialty clothing and accessory retailer Francesca's announced changes to its board of directors. Effective immediately, Martyn Redgrave is joining the board while Greg Brenneman and Richard Zannino have resigned.

Brenneman and Zannino, partners at CCMP Capital, have been on Francesca's board since 2010 when CCMP acquired a controlling interest. As of March 2013, CCMP no longer has ownership interest in Francesca's and the two will focus on commitments to other boards.

The new board member, Redgrave, is the managing partner and CEO of Agate Creek Partners, a professional governance and consulting services company he co-founded in July 2014.

Prior to his retirement in August 2014, Redgrave held several leadership positions as L Brands, including senior advisor, Limited Brands' exec-VP and CAO, and CFO. He currently serves as the non-executive chairman of the board for Deluxe Corp. and also serves on the board of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

"We are excited to welcome Martyn Redgrave to the Francesca's board of directors. Martyn has tremendous public-company board experience and we will benefit from his retail and management expertise," said Michael Barnes, chairman, president and CEO of Francesca's. "On behalf of the board, I want to thank Greg and Rich for their invaluable contributions to Francesca's business and their long-term leadership on our board." Press Release
