Food magazines make recipes shoppable

Conde Nast's Food Innovation Group has made the recipes in Bon Appetit and Epicurious shoppable. In partnership with digital service Popcart, ingredients on a recipe are converted to items that can be purchased through online grocers. Consumers will be able to purchase ingredients through desktop, tablet and mobile sites when the service goes live on June 18, with e-commerce fulfillment by Peapod, Fresh Direct and Roch Brothers.
