The FierceRetail Team Continues to Grow

Dear Readers,

I'm thrilled to announce some exciting changes to the editorial line-up here at FierceRetail! Please join me in welcoming Laura Heller as our new Executive Editor.

Laura brings nearly two decades of experience as a reporter on mass-market retail trends and initiatives to the FierceRetail team. Throughout the course of her career, she has written for major retail news outlets including Discount Store News/Retailing Today, Drug Store News, Grocery Headquarters, Chain Store Age, Consumer Electronics Daily, Home Channel News, License! Global and Shopper Marketing Magazine. She has appeared on national TV and radio programs discussing retail trends including ABC News Now and National Public Radio. In addition, her blog – "The Point of Purchase" currently appears on Forbes.com.

Laura will be joining current Editor, Nicole Melton, in contributing to the daily coverage here at FierceRetail and will be leading the charge over at FierceMobileRetail and StorefrontBacktalk as well. She'll also be working to develop some new content features that will bring you even more in-depth coverage of the major issues and trending topics in the industry.

The entire Fierce team will be in New York next week attending the NRF's Annual Conference. Keep an eye out for further announcements about our live coverage from the show and don't be shy about saying hello if you see any of us on site. We always enjoy having the chance to meet our readers!

If you'd like to connect with Laura, you can reach her directly at [email protected] and on Twitter at @lfheller. And as always, feel free to contact me with any questions.

I hope to see some of you in New York next week!

Best,
Heather Martin
