E-commerce sales will spike this holiday

Two new holiday sales forecasts agree on one important point: E-commerce will play an even bigger part in consumers' holiday shopping this year than in previous years. Shop.org forecasts Web sales will grow between 8 percent and 11 percent this year to as much as $105 billion.

PricewaterhouseCooper, meanwhile, predicts that a significant 43 percent of holiday shopping will take place online. In addition, 41 percent of shoppers plan to increase how much they spend online this holiday season, PwC found. Story
