Dunkin' Brands promotes CIO to CISO

Dunkin' Brands has announced the promotion of its CIO of the past three years, Jack Clare, to chief information and strategy officer. He will continue to report to CFO Paul Carbone as a member of the company's leadership team.

"Jack is the ideal person to fill this new position and will continue to help us retain our leadership position as a technology leader in our category," Carbone said in a statement. "Jack also has considerable experience working for international companies and developing strategic solutions to meet the needs of a franchisee-focused business model. I look forward to working with him in this new leadership role to develop and implement the programs, initiatives and technologies that will drive Dunkin' Brands' future success."

Before joining the company, Clare was a system and flight test engineer with the U.S. Air Force. He has a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Academy and a master of science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Dayton, as well as an MBA from the University of California, Davis.
