Dick's ready to woo Sports Authority customers

Following Sports Authority's announcement that it would close all stores, Dick's Sporting Goods has stepped in to try and win over its customers. The company will bid for about two dozen of the shuttered stores' leases that will be auctioned off in June. Waiting patiently for the liquidation sales to end, Dick's believes it will eventually pick up former Sports Authority customers, and in a recent advertisement started offering Sports Authority loyalty-card members $20 to sign up for a similar program at Dick's.
